Last updated: 13 June 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") apply to your access to and use of Clippi.cc, including our website, screen recording tools, video sharing features, subscriptions, and related services (the "Service"), whether you are an individual, creator, or part of a team.
Clippi.cc is a product operated by Remz, a sole proprietorship registered in Sweden. In these Terms, "Clippi", "we", "us", and "our" refer to Remz and the Clippi.cc Service.
By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.
1. About Clippi
Clippi is a web-based screen recording and video-sharing platform. The Service may allow users to record their screen, browser tab, desktop window, webcam, microphone audio, and system or browser audio. Clippi may also allow users to embed YouTube videos by pasting a YouTube link.
Clippi does not currently provide video upload from existing files, video trimming/editing, AI transcripts, AI summaries, AI titles, screenshots, comments, reactions, or team/workspace features.

3. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of legal majority in your country, to create a paid account. If you are under 16, you may only use Clippi with permission from a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Service, you confirm that you have the right, authority, and capacity to agree to these Terms.
4. Accounts
Some features may require an account. You agree to provide accurate and current information and to keep your login credentials secure.
You are responsible for all activity under your account. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at contact@clippi.cc.
Users may be able to record with limited functionality without creating an account. Use of the Service without an account is still subject to these Terms.
5. Video sharing and visibility
By default, Clippi videos are accessible to people who have the link. Viewers may be able to watch shared videos without an account if the creator allows it.
You are responsible for managing your sharing settings and for deciding who receives access to your video links. Anyone with access to a link may be able to view the video unless additional restrictions are available and enabled.
6. User content
"User Content" means content that you create, record, embed, share, or otherwise make available through the Service, including screen recordings, audio, webcam footage, video titles, metadata, and embedded YouTube links.
You retain ownership of your User Content. However, you grant us a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, process, transmit, display, stream, reproduce, and otherwise use your User Content as necessary to provide, secure, maintain, and improve the Service.
You represent and warrant that:
- you have all rights and permissions needed to record, share, and process your User Content;
- your User Content does not violate any law, third-party rights, confidentiality obligation, or these Terms;
- you have obtained any necessary consent before recording another person, their voice, their image, their screen, their documents, or any personal or confidential information.
You are responsible for avoiding the recording or sharing of passwords, private documents, health data, financial data, customer data, confidential company data, or other sensitive information unless you have the legal right and permission to do so.
7. YouTube embeds
Clippi may allow users to paste a YouTube link and embed or reference YouTube content through the Service. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of YouTube links complies with YouTube's terms and applicable law.
Clippi does not claim ownership of YouTube content and is not responsible for the availability, legality, accuracy, or content of YouTube videos or other third-party materials.
8. Content policy and acceptable use
You must not use the Service to create, store, share, embed, distribute, or promote content or activity that is illegal, harmful, abusive, or violates the rights of others.
You must not use the Service for:
- illegal content or unlawful activity;
- malware, phishing, scams, spam, credential theft, or security abuse;
- copyright infringement, trademark infringement, or other intellectual property violations;
- recording or sharing confidential information without permission;
- harassment, threats, doxxing, stalking, or abusive conduct;
- non-consensual intimate content or sexual exploitation;
- child sexual abuse material or any content involving exploitation of minors;
- hate speech, violent extremist content, or content promoting violence;
- impersonation, fraud, deceptive conduct, or misleading use of the Service;
- attempts to overload, scrape, reverse engineer, interfere with, or disrupt the Service;
- use that violates the rules of third-party platforms such as YouTube.
We may review, remove, disable, restrict, or report content where we believe it violates these Terms, the law, or the rights or safety of others. We may also suspend or terminate accounts involved in prohibited activity.
9. Copyright and infringement reports
If you believe content on Clippi infringes your copyright or other rights, contact us at contact@clippi.cc with:
- your name and contact details;
- a description of the work or rights you claim have been infringed;
- the URL or location of the allegedly infringing content;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use is not authorized;
- a statement that the information in your notice is accurate and that you are the rights owner or authorized to act for the rights owner.
We may remove or restrict access to content in response to valid infringement reports.
10. Plans, billing, and payments
Clippi may offer free/basic and paid/pro plans. Available features, limits, and prices may be shown on our website or checkout page and may change over time.
Dodo Payments is our Merchant of Record and handles payment processing, VAT/tax, invoices, and refunds. Your payment may be subject to Dodo Payments' terms, privacy policy, and checkout conditions.
By purchasing a paid plan, you authorize the applicable payment provider to charge your selected payment method for the subscription fees, taxes, and any applicable charges shown at checkout.
11. Failed payments
If a payment fails, we or our payment provider may notify you and retry the payment. We may suspend or restrict access to paid features until payment is completed. If payment remains unpaid, your account may be downgraded to a free/basic account.
12. Cancellations
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Users keep access to paid features until then. After the billing period ends, the account is downgraded to a free/basic account.
When a Pro account is downgraded to Basic, existing Pro videos remain available, but new Basic videos expire after 7 days.
Shared video links may remain active after cancellation unless the video is deleted, restricted, or removed under these Terms.
13. Refunds
Refund requests must be made within 14 days of the payment date. Requests made after this period will not be eligible for a refund except where required by applicable law.
We may offer refunds under the following circumstances:
- the Service was not delivered as promised due to an error on our end;
- a technical issue caused by Clippi prevents you from accessing paid features and cannot be resolved within a reasonable timeframe;
- you cancel your subscription within the refund period described above.
Annual subscriptions may be refunded if you request a refund within 14 days of purchase, provided that your account has not had excessive usage, abuse, or violation of these Terms. After 14 days, annual subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Refunds will generally not be granted if:
- you change your mind after purchasing a subscription or service;
- you fail to use the Service during the subscription period;
- the issue is caused by third-party software, tools, services, devices, browsers, or internet connections not controlled by Clippi;
- your account has violated these Terms or the Content Policy section above;
- your usage has created excessive storage, bandwidth, or operational costs.
To request a refund, contact contact@clippi.cc and provide your payment receipt, order ID, and a description of the issue. We or Dodo Payments will review your request. If approved, the refund will be processed to your original payment method where possible.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights that apply to you under applicable law.
14. Chargebacks and payment disputes
If there is a payment dispute or chargeback, Clippi, Remz, or Dodo Payments may contact you to resolve the issue and may temporarily restrict access to paid features until the matter is resolved. Repeated, fraudulent, or abusive chargebacks may result in account termination.
15. Video retention and deletion
Free/basic account videos are automatically deleted after 7 days.
Pro account videos do not expire while the subscription remains active, unless the user deletes them or violates these Terms.
If you delete a video, we will take steps to remove it from active availability. Deleted content may remain in backups, logs, caches, or technical systems for a limited period where necessary for security, legal, or operational reasons.
16. Downloads
Users may be able to download their own videos where the feature is available. You are responsible for how you store, share, and protect downloaded videos.
17. Third-party services
The Service may depend on third-party providers, including infrastructure, storage, payment, email, analytics, and embedded content providers. We are not responsible for third-party services that we do not control.
We use third-party infrastructure and hosting providers to operate, secure, and deliver the Service. We also use analytics providers, including Umami for privacy-friendly website analytics, as described in our Privacy & Cookies Policy.
18. Intellectual property
The Service, including our software, design, branding, features, and other materials, is owned by Remz or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, lease, reverse engineer, or otherwise exploit the Service except as permitted by these Terms or applicable law.
19. Feedback
If you provide ideas, suggestions, or feedback about Clippi, you grant us the right to use that feedback without restriction or compensation to you.
20. Suspension and termination
We may suspend, restrict, or terminate your access to the Service if:
- you violate these Terms;
- your use creates legal, security, operational, or reputational risk;
- you fail to pay applicable fees;
- you use the Service abusively, fraudulently, or unlawfully;
- we are required to do so by law.
You may stop using the Service at any time. You may request account deletion by contacting us at contact@clippi.cc.
21. Availability and changes to the Service
We may update, change, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Service at any time. We do not guarantee that the Service will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
We may apply usage limits, storage limits, bandwidth limits, recording limits, or fair-use restrictions where needed to operate the Service safely and sustainably.
22. Disclaimers
The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.
23. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Remz and Clippi will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or business opportunities.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Service will be limited to the amount you paid to use the Service during the 12 months before the claim arose, or EUR 100 if you have not paid for the Service.
Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.
24. Consumer rights
If you use the Service as a consumer, you may have mandatory rights under consumer protection laws that cannot be excluded or limited by these Terms. These Terms do not limit those mandatory rights.
25. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the laws of Sweden, excluding conflict-of-law rules.
If you have a concern or dispute, you agree to first contact us at contact@clippi.cc so we can try to resolve it informally.
Disputes will be handled by Swedish courts unless mandatory consumer protection laws provide otherwise.
26. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users before they take effect. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
